cart abandonment

I have been looking at the cart abandonment app that we currently have, it doesn't seem to be working well for us, people who have actually purchased from us seem to be getting these emails more regularly when they shouldn't be

Has anyone used Shopify's own cart abandonment feature? what is it like?
