I have constructed the permalink URL correctly but it will only work with my myshopify.com domain.  It won't work with my custom domain.  Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks!

Hello @UlyssesJewel,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $7Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.

If you have created a permalink URL for your online store, but it only works with the default "myshopify.com" address and not with your custom domain, there are a few things you can try to fix the problem.

-> If you've recently added a new theme or plugin to your website, it's possible that it's causing issues with your permalinks. To troubleshoot this, you can try disabling your themes and plugins individually, one at a time, to see if the problem is resolved.

-> Make sure that your custom domain is set up correctly and connected to your online store. It's like making sure that the address of your store is correctly linked to your custom domain.

-> Ensure that your custom domain has a valid security certificate installed. This certificate is important for keeping your customers' information secure when they visit your website. You may need to double-check if it's set up properly.

-> Sometimes, your web browser saves temporary files that can cause issues. Clearing these files can help resolve the problem. You can also try using a different web browser or device to see if the issue persists.

-> Make sure that your custom domain is set up correctly in the settings of your online store platform (such as Shopify). Look for any options related to domains and make sure your custom domain is set as the main one. Also, check if there are any settings that might be affecting the permalink URL.

-> If you've tried the above steps and still can't get it to work, it's a good idea to contact the support team of your online store platform. They have experts who can help you with specific issues related to your account and domain.

Let me know if you have any questions.
