How can I streamline user experience to have only the available options display that correspond to the selected variant when there are 3 variants with different options for each variant?
I am using Studio 2.0 theme with pill display of variants for an art company that has original paintings (1 available) and then can do prints on paper and canvas in a variety of options. Our target is to have the material (1st variant) display with "original", "paper", and "canvas". Then after the customer selects that option, the possible sizes would display; paper and canvas have their own sizes and the original wouldn't have any other variants display since it's one size. After selecting the size, the customer could choose to have the canvas "rolled", "stretched with white border", or "stretched with wrapped border".
Because of the multiple steps/choices, the goal is to streamline what is displayed as options. Currently, the only indication that the variant combination is not possible is that it cannot be added to the cart. I've included a screenshot of a test product display with the tier of variants and options.
If a cascading appearance based on choice is not possible, it would be nice to cross out the unavailable options.
Thanks,
Jenn
