I am setting up a new store selling print on demand products.
We want to sell bespoke items for a number of charities that they can advertise and they will get a percentage back from every sale that comes through the website. Does ayone know of the best way to do this in an automated way? Would they be classed as affiliates? or how can I add a choose your charity dropdown at checkout so the correct charity gets the correct percentage?
Have you checked out the Shopify App Store? There are several apps (including some with free plans) that will allow you to collect donations for charity.
Hi Sophie, Thanks for the reply. I have looked at a number of apps but they are a little restrictive because many of them only allow you to select the charities they have on their lists. We want to open our shop up to various clubs, charities and schools ( not just national recognised charities) selling bespoke products directed at their branding and then every time someone purchases one of their product designs they get a percentage of the sale back, so its not a donation but more of a commission. Do you have any suggestions on how we could get that to work? Thanks
I wonder if one of the apps for multiple vendors might be a better fit in this case. These apps help you track commissions for various "vendors" and split payments accordingly by assigning each vendor a percentage or fixed amount of sales.
Thanks for the reply, I am based in the UK and all the charities are UK based as well. Do you have a UK based production centre for printed items? Thanks
There are a number of print on demand apps whose fulfillment centers are based in the UK. Here are some of the ones I came across that mention dispatch from the UK:
There are also apps like Printful that have multiple fulfillment centers around the world.
