Can I get the refund reason via a dropdown list instead of this text field?

Is there a particular reason why you would rather have this box have a drop-down options, instead of a textbox to write out the reason for the refund? Are you wanting to provide specific reasons for the refund, so there are no accidental mistakes made around why a refund was issued?

 

If you can provide me with some more context behind the 'why' for this request, I'd be happy to present it to our team internally for their consideration! Feel free to follow up with me here when you have more information to share!

Hi Imogen, 

I hope this message finds you well. 

I want to add static refund reasons via a dropdown list to help me in our system's dashboard by detecting specific refund reasons and knowing the most one to work on minimizing the refund orders as much as we can.

Thanks a bunch for providing that additional context around why you'd like a dropdown menu to be generated for refund reasons. I've gone ahead and passed your feedback along to our Internal Team for their consideration. I can't promise what the outcome of the feedback may be, but you can trust that it's been passed along to those who need to see it!

 

In the meantime, a suggestion I like to make to folks in situations like these is to be consistent with the reasons for refunds you enter in, as you can track these reasons easily as long as you're able to keep things specific and consistent.
