In the customer accounts, there are two options. If we use the option to send one time code to the customer, the email with the 6 digit code is sent from an email ID : mailer@shopify.com.

How can we change this send email from our branded email address like auth@mycompany.com or similar?

Like Merged customer accounts (that took over 7 years to finally happen), I don't think Shopify sees having THEIR branding confusing our customers is a high priority for them,  Very disappoinint as it makes the "new" customer accounts useless for any business that cares about branding.

This is truly a big problem, did you ever find a solution?

Really need a solution to this problem. Why is it not automatically set up to send from the designated sender email instead of mailer@shopify.com ? Any solution would be great! Hopefully Shopify will update this soon as it is rendering their new tool useless when it comes to adhering to store branding. Untitled-2.png

This is a critical miss and a head shaker.  With two Shopify Plus stores its really disappointing in how the new customer accounts is handles.

I have the same problem also, even though I saw someone's store on Shopify doesn't have this issue.

Yup, still the same issue, terrible. The only solution is to continue using classic customer accounts. 😶
