Hello!
I would like to know where I can change the default link to the tracking that my customers use on their order account? And also where I can change the word "Other" ? Please help!
Changing the default tracking link can definitely make a big difference in customer experience. What I found helpful is creating a small “tracking URL mapper” — basically, a snippet of code or a simple app that detects the carrier from the tracking number and then dynamically inserts the right tracking link in the notification email. This way, no matter which carrier you use, customers get a direct, easy-to-click link.
If you’re not into coding, some apps in the Shopify App Store do this automatically and can save you time. Also, don’t forget to test your emails after changes, because a broken link can cause more trouble than no link at all.
Another idea is to add a “Track my order” button that directs customers to a dedicated tracking page on your site, where you can display tracking info from multiple carriers in one place — it feels more professional and keeps customers on your brand’s site longer.
