Change title on search engine results

Kindly asking for your assistance with an issue that I've been trying to sort for a while.

I would like to change the head title on search engine results. Currently it's showing the URL instead of the store name. See screenshot enclosed.

What code changes do I need to make?

If you tried everything like modification of meta title , business name etc. Then use schema markup and reindex it at GSC

To change the title that appears in search engine results, you'll need to adjust the SEO settings in your Shopify store. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Log in to Shopify Admin:
Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.

Navigate to Online Store:
From the left-hand menu, click on “Online Store” and then select “Preferences.”

Update Title and Meta Description:
In the “Title and meta description” section, you’ll find fields for “Homepage title” and “Homepage meta description.”
Enter your desired store name or title in the “Homepage title” field. This will be the title that appears in search engine results.

Save Changes:
Click “Save” to apply the changes.

Thank you for your detailed reply. Unfortunately, when I look at the information in the Preferences, it matches with what you can see in the initial screenshot provided but changing that text will not change the part that I've highlighted in the original post.

It looks like the title is somewhere else, I would imagine in the code. Any other suggestions?

at index liquid, you need to put schema markup and by using Google search console you can again index your website with schema markup
