changing dropdown text without changing it everywhere

Hi there all!

I need help with the following: see pictures where the mouse is. There is a tab with product description: when i change this product description for this specific dress, it changes also at the other products that i sell. 

But every dress has its own description. How can i change this without changing them all?

Anybody any clue?

Hi there! No worries, this is a common issue when the description tab on the product page is static or shared across products. It sounds like your theme is using one text block for all products, so editing it in one place changes every product’s description at once. To fix this, make sure the description is coming from each product’s own data. In your theme’s Product page template or in the theme editor, there should be a dynamic product description section (it often uses {{ product.description }} under the hood). Ensure you're using that instead of a fixed text block. That way each dress will display its own unique description and won’t affect the others. I hope this helps!
