Charged 9 times and I haven’t purchased anything with Shopify

I had to make an account because I have no way to contact Shopify as a customer. I was charged 9 times by Shopify, and when I look at my statement it doesn’t say for what. I don’t have a store or recall buying anything using Shopify. Before I dispute the charges with my bank I would like to know what did I get charged on July 12, 2024 the same amount 9 times, so it doesn’t happen again.

I am sorry to hear about this situation. Shopify is an ecommerce software provider, merchants can sign up for our services and they pay a monthly or annual subscription fee. If you are seeing charges on your card that look like Shopify * XXXXXXXX and you have not signed up for any merchant accounts on our platform then there is a high risk that your card details have been compromised. I recommend reporting these charges as fraud right away to your card provider for further support.
