Checkout Button In Cart Not Working

The checkout Button on my cart page is not working for customers. When a customer clicks it, it is just refreshing the page and not proceeding to checkout. I have now seen this in multiple session recordings and customers are not able to proceed to checkout.

 

I tested it myself but that error is not appearing so I'm not sure what might be causing it for them.

 

Can you please provide me a solution for this?

Thanks for sharing the store link! I tested the checkout button on my device, and everything seems to be working as expected.

 

Could you let us know which device and browser your shoppers were using when they encountered this issue? This will help us pinpoint the cause and find a solution.

Thanks for checking. It's happened approximately 20 times, both with mobile and desktop customers.

 

Could this be due to an app? For example I only noticed this issue after I installed upcart and even after deleting it I'm still getting the issue.

That could definitely be a factor. However, since Shopify now uses app blocks, it's uncommon for apps to leave behind code, unless you had contacted the app's support team to make custom changes or add functionality.

 

Could you check your theme.liquid file to see if there are any leftover scripts related to UpCart? If you find any, removing them might help resolve the issue. Let me know what you find!

 

I also noticed that on your cart page, even when there are no products in the cart, the checkout button remains active. Clicking on it redirects to the homepage instead of showing an appropriate message or disabling the button.
