Checkout Page Not Working

For some reason my checkout page is not loading, I have tried on several different devices, even in Incognito Mode, no luck. I am able to add items to the cart but when I hit the checkout button, I get an error page saying that "there was a problem loading this page" I have attached a screenshot of the error. I am notsure what is going on but some help on the matter would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to make any sales without a functioning checkout page.

Is item in cart available to actually buy when clicking on 'checkout'? 

And true valid payment method ?

Just wondering if that makes a difference?

One more thought after seeing the shopify instruction copy/pasted below - Is this required - choice of account type and active payment method?

"Do I need to enter my payment details to sign up?

No. You can sign up and use Shopify for 14 days without entering your payment details.

At the end of your trial,

or when you decide

to launch your store,

you will need to pick a plan and enter your payment details"

I don't know and cannot tell from shopify's  info  if the free trial allows a working functional store before picking plan and giving payment details.
