Checkout URL not maintaining account details

I am trying to integrate account creation into my store 
When I create a cart with all the necessary fields and buyer identity.
I get a checkout URL in response 
when I take the user to the checkout URL it populates the user field but when I go to the store and update the cart ,again checkout , the user is logged out but cart is updated
