All things Shopify and commerce
Hi guys,
I'm currently wanting to improve inventory management in my shopify store. I'm also just about to set up Xero.
My store is in AUD but I purchase my inventory in USD so I just have $0 in cost per item for product variants because the cost fluctuates with the exchange rates.
I would like to sync inventory quantities between Xero and Shopify and Ideally, Shopify would communicate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to Xero.
I believe this is how it would work if I could enter the cost per item in on the product variant page(?).
Has anyone got any suggestions on how this might work considering the currency issue?
Would Stocky enable this functionality? (even if it would USD$89 is a lot for POS pro considering I don't have any physical locations)
Did you manage to solve this issue?
I think so, I have not set it up yet though.
A2X is a software that is used to link Shopify and other e-comm platforms to Xero. Apparently it works immeasurably better than the Shopify Xero app. It has the functionality to enter COGS in whatever currency you like, and I believe it communicates inventory deductions aswell.
It seems like the answer.
