Collection list is showing the same collection instead of the 3 collections I chose to display

I'm customizing the Horizons theme, trying to add a collection list to the home. I chose 3 different collections for the list, but the list shows the same collection 3 times.  If I change one of the collections on the customizer, they all change to the same one. When I used the Dawn theme, I didn't have this problem. Has anyone encountered this?

Does anyone have instructions on how to do this the right way?

I forgot to mention, I have not published the theme yet...as I'm still working on it.

You're doing it wrong.  You should not modify "iterator" collection card or add more of them, select collections in the Section setting:

Hi Tim

May I ask a very similar question? I'm having the same problem but on the Atelier template.

In the "Collection list: Grid" section, the first collection image and title is showing multiple times instead of showing each separate collection image and title.  I have the correct images and titles showing in the "Collections" section, but they are not appearing correctly on the template. 

Do you have any suggestions of what I may be doing wrong and how I can fix this?

It may be that you've changed setting on the "iterator" card. This is how it works on my store:

This new way of configuring is not 100% intuitive.

I think you're right - I must have changed something without realising. I'll delete the entire section and start again.
