Over the past several weeks, I have poured my heart and soul into learning how to set up my Shopify store. I immersed myself in countless tutorials and scoured various articles, determined to take full advantage of all the resources available. Despite my unwavering commitment, I faced numerous challenges in grasping even the most basic aspects of the platform, which left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. I invested significant time researching my niche, convinced that I had a compelling business idea that could thrive in the marketplace. However, I soon found myself struggling to launch the project effectively. While I initially felt I was making progress, I later discovered that my settings were incorrectly configured, a revelation that only added to my disappointment and hindered my efforts further. This rollercoaster of experience has made it increasingly difficult for me to stay motivated. At 40 years old, equipped with multiple college degrees, certifications, and licenses, I am bewildered by the obstacles I have encountered. Frustratedly, I deleted my store and all associated applications, hoping I executed the process correctly. Now, I seek guidance on how others in similar situations have been able to move forward with their ideas after opting to pause their efforts. Unfortunately, professional assistance is beyond my financial reach, and I’m acutely aware that the costs associated with e-commerce, especially marketing, can escalate quickly. It feels like I have been thrust back to the starting line, this time facing an even more daunting financial landscape. This journey has taken an emotional toll on me, leaving me with deep feelings of disappointment and inadequacy. This is not a life-or-death situation, so I request your kind understanding. I embarked on this venture out of a genuine need to provide additional income and a desire to contribute to society by raising awareness through an art style I am passionate about. It pains me to think that I have not only let myself down but also potentially missed the opportunity to benefit others who could have gained from my ideas, had they proven to have merit. Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to read my thoughts. Thank you.

Not sure if you want to hear this, but your expectations probably aren't aligned with the difficulty of the challenge. Success in ecommerce is abnormal, you are not a normal person if you succeed. It's not the other way around.

Most people quit when it gets hard. That's why the majority of people aren't successful. You basically have to be able to face more pain then everyone else who tries and fails.

Emotionally detach from the results (this includes building the store in X time, etc.). Things will be harder and take longer than you expect. Several week is not enough, you need several months.
