Conditional variant options

Hello, I got this product which can be bought in separate pieces. I need something to have a conditional variant setup where selecting one variant option dynamically affects the availability of other options/variants. For instance,

You can buy just a cable (In different colors)

You can buy a cable with connections (The cable can be red,black,purple) (Either 1 out of 3 connections or all 3 connections)

You can also buy just the connections (ALL 3 or seperate)

So the cable can be in different colors, but the connections can't. And the cable is available in 3 different sizes (1m,2m,3m).

I'm also using an app for my add to cart button -> MagCharge – TrendBlend. So that also makes it difficult to use an app to toggle this.

Be aware the current limitation is 3 options and 100 variants but  apis are changing that can enable up to 2k variants and more options.

If these are skus with inventory each you need to dig around for personalization or bundling apps.

Otherwise for online-sales-channel do them as separate products and customize the theme to present them as variants.

The Easify Product Options app can help you meet your requirements. Here’s a suggested setup for your store 🤗:

1. Create Your Main Product: Set up your main product with 3 variants:

   • Variant 1: Buy just the cable (V1)
   • Variant 2: Buy a cable with connections (V2)
   • Variant 3: Buy just the connections (V3)

2. Create Separate Products: Set up separate products for the Cable (with Color & Size options) and Connections.

3. Create an Option Set: Use the app to configure the options shown based on the selected variant of the main product:

   • Cable Color Option: Use the Color Swatch or Image Swatch option type, and set it to display when V1 or V2 is selected (using advanced conditional logic).
   • Cable Size Option: Use the Dropdown, Button, or Radio Button option type, and show it when V1 or V2 is selected (using advanced conditional logic). Link this option with the associated Cable product.
   • Connections Option: Use the Checkbox option type (for multi-select), and show it when V2 or V3 is selected (using advanced conditional logic). Link this option with the Connections product.

4. Add Options to the Main Product: Finally, add all the options to the main product.
