Confusing Shopify Pricing Structure

I don't get this. I'm trying to switch to a subscription model on Shopify, but it's so confusing. A Shopify partner recently transferred a store he made for me, and now it says $39/month to make it live. However, Shopify's homepage advertises a $29/month plan, which is perfect for me. Can someone help me? Also, I don't get the $1 for one month offer in the $39/month plan. Why's that??
