Hi there

I wondered how long it generally takes for a domain to start showing? I connected my GoDaddy domain to my Shopify store about 2 hours ago but I'm still not seeing any changes.  I just wondered if all of my settings looked ok?

I'm trying to connect thehenplanner.com to my shopify site - i used to host it with wordpress..

Thanks

You must connect your Shopify store to your domain after purchasing it from a third-party domain provider, such as Google Domains, GoDaddy, or 1&1 IONOS. If you connect your domain to Shopify, your customers can enter that URL into their web browser to view your online store. You still manage your domain settings, pay for your domain, and renew it through your third-party domain provider after connecting your domain to Shopify.

Yeah I know that - I've connected the domain which says it is all verified but now I'm just getting this error now...

Can a Shopify expert help with this please? I'm conscious this is going to affect my SEO rankings the longer it is like this..

The connection is not private is likely due to not having an SSL certificate. SSL certificates will apply to your account within 24 hours of adding the domain. The status should go from "SSL pending" to "Connected"  - If the SSL does not apply after 24 hours, then contacting Shopify Support will be your next step so they can reprovision the certificates. You can do this by logging into your store through the help center, searching your question/issue, then selecting "continue" at the bottom of the page that displays the search results.

Those DNS settings are wrong. You need to set them as per this guide https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/add-a-domain/connecting-domains/connect-domain-manual
