So according to Shopify, I have some sort of a wildcard in my domain set up. I've been through it all, read everything and I still can't get it to work.  Can anyone advise? I would be so grateful, thank you. 

 

Sorry, wasn't sure which board to put this on.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I’ve followed all the guides already and tried absolutely everything and I unfortunately still can’t get the domain to connect.

Hi Aimee, can you share a screenshot of your current DNS settings for your domain? Happy to look into this with you. Please remember, any changes to your DNS settings will take up to 48 hours to resolve. 

 

I can see using DNS Checker that your domain's DNS records are not populating right now. If the domain records are correct then this would be an issue with the domain host if this has been ongoing for longer than 48 hours.

Hi Shay, 

 

Thanks for your reply. This is what I can see. I’ve tried my best to follow the instructions. So confused. I keep allowing more than 48hrs between the times I try to sort it but nothing happens.

Thank you @AHough for the screenshots! From what I can see your DNS setup looks correct, so you shouldn't need to make any further changes to them. If it's been longer than 48 hours and you are still seeing these errors you will want to connect with your domain host to let them know. You can use the DNS Checker tool I shared to confirm what the DNS records are showing from their end. Once the domain host successfully shares the DNS records, you should see that update in your store admin right away.
