Connection to Google Analytics

I am trying to verify my site with GA. The challenge I'm facing is that the site is already being tracked by GA, which leads me to the question, how can I be getting data with being verified. Does verification not have anything to do with actual reporting of data? Should I worry about verification?

Verification is a step that usually happens in the initial stages of setting up Google Analytics, yet you say that your store already has Google Analytics - how do you know this? Did you install it yourself? Can you see a Google Analytics URL under Online Store > Preferences?

Can I also please just confirm that you checked out our Guide on Google Analytics? Have you consulted Google's own documents?
