Hey there Shopify Community,

 

We've noticed some glitches (or we hope they're glitches) lately that have been causing us some issues.

 

1) The "Duplicate" function

The duplicate function seems to work MOSTLY normally, however we've had an issue with the selections we choose not being registered, or saved, and instead when we duplicate a product to create new products, we wind up with the selections we chose for it to copy over, to all be overwritten. So if we choose to duplicate the sales channels, it ignores that and won't set it as available on any sales channels. This is a minor issue, but I wanted to report it to Shopify Staff so that it's on your guy's radar.

 

2) The SKU bar within the Duplicate function.

The opposite problem seems to be happening with our SKU, and whenever we duplicate a product, even if we select not to copy the Sku, it seems to go ahead and do so anyways. Again, small issue in the small scheme, but this adds a few extra steps to a process that we repeat a lot, so the time really builds.

 

3) We STILL have products that are changing price, seemingly at will. 
We have a small company, with 4 brick and mortar stores and an online store (which I run alone), so I'm able to ask everyone in the company if they changed prices on a product, and I can confirm that nobody changed the prices, however, we still have prices migrating from one product to another, seemingly randomly. It always seems to be the same brand, but we have no idea why this might be happening. I was hoping that someone else with this same issue might see this and be able to help me out here. Has anyone else scanned products, and noticed that an item was priced incorrectly, despite nobody changing the price? Is there possibly something I'm missing? I've been looking into this issue for a little under a year now, and I've made no headway into figuring out what exactly is going on, but I very well might have missed something, so if someone recognizes this predicament, please reach out!

Did anyone figure this out? We had the same problem for about 2 weeks last month. Totally random. We can't find any consistency or explanation other than that it happened to every order in that time period.

And they charge these amounts for bugs
