All things Shopify and commerce
For the last few months the conversion analytics from this store are messed up. Conversions are at 0 while there have been sales like you see. Got in touch with the live chat but they don't have a solution neither, anyone who knows how to fix this?
Hi Chijoke, thanks for your reply. So as you see I had 467 conversions this quarter so far and it reported 0 in the shopify analytics dashboard. I didn't make any changes to my analytics or tracking codes. I just want to track my add to cart, reached checkouts and conversions properly in shopify.
Check if it's a Shopify issue or just a vert low conversion rate
Look at the number of visitors in your Google analytics or your analytics dashboard
Calculate Conversion Rate: Manually calculate your conversion rate by dividing the number of orders by the number of visitors and multiplying by 100
Conversion Rate=(Number of Orders / Number of Visitors )×100
Compare Results: If your calculated conversion rate is extremely low it might round down to zero in Shopify’s analytics. If your manual calculation shows a normal conversion rate then it’s likely an issue with Shopify’s tracking
It's a shopify issue, as you see in the screenshot I had 467 sales so far this quarter and shopify analytics reported 8 add to carts, 2 reached checkouts and 0 conversions. So yeah definitely the conversion rate should be higher than 0% 😅
