Purchased a new domain and done all steps to connect to domain but still getting this error, talked to support they said this domain is previously connect to other store and are trying to disconnect from the old store, how can this be possible I have complete domain access but still not able to connect the domain.

Your error indicates that this store is frozen. Will you check you have any due payment or anything else.

the store that is showing frozen is not my store...this domain is previously connected to other store of different owner...maybe he let the domain expire and then I purchased the domain...

I think Shopify do not allowed without remove the domain from the old store. You can contact shopify support team and inform them to take action .

they are just escalating to support team, contacted them three times but no solution
