Creating a shopping feed for merchant center with custom id's in shopify

Hello,

we just migrated from another shop-system to shopify.

A GMC account with products and unique ids already exist.

Now we want to use those existing ids for product shopping. We already installed the "Google & Youtube" app and imported the id's in "variant sku" and mpn into "Google Shopping / MPN". However, "Google & Youtube" does not recognize the mpn and I also do not see an option to use the variant sku as the id for the feed.

Is there another app that does a better job for this problem or is there a way to solve it with the "Google & Youtube" App?

I'm happy to provide some assistance with this request. To confirm, have you tried adding those details to your Google Merchant Center account?

If not, I'd encourage you to complete this to see if that allows those products to successfully sync. The Google & YouTube channel works to import existing product data from Shopify, but you might need to add some additional information. To learn more about this, you can check out this guide. The google and youtube app will not work with what you want to do. I use https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

This app allows you to use the SKU value as your product ID.
