Creating an Automatic Discount to all of my consumers but need to exclude my wholesale segment?

I have created a segment for my wholesale customers (verified by AIOW App) to seperate them from my typical consumers.  I would like to create discount promotions that will offer an automatic discount to my consumers but I need to exclude my wholesalers who already get a deep count.  In the "Availability" section the only option says, "This discount is automatically applied to all sales channels"

@rnp4840 , automatic discounts (native or app created) does not allow customer eligibility selection.

If you're willing to use customer tags instead, I suggest you try our app, Discount Bot, to create automatic discounts that can exclude  (or apply to)  customers with certain tags.

To exclude your wholesale customers from automatic discounts, you’ll need to segment them based on the tag applied by the AIOW app. Shopify's native discount feature doesn’t allow for selective discounting by customer type. However, you can create an automation or custom solution using a third-party app like Automatic Discounts & Gifts to apply the discount only to specific customer groups. Gameball could also help boost engagement by rewarding your regular consumers with loyalty points instead of direct discounts.
