Custom Products added as new product variant

Hi everyone,
i've got a problem with my custom price calculator. Every time a customer put their custom prize for a custom product into their cart (with the app calconic calculators) a new product variant is being created. How can i manage that no more product variants are going to generated.

Did anyone find a solution for this issue.

I use the same Calconic Calculator and it creates a new variant whenever someone checkout using the calculator
