Custom sort

Hi my developer made a custom code for sorting but unfortunately he is not responding anymore. I want all my new products to appear on the ‘this season first’ sorting. Is that possible? They are appearing but the same product name don’t arrange in alphabetical order

By the looks of it. The developer has just changed the text of sort by: "New to Old" to "This season first". The "New to Old" is a default sorting option in Shopify and is calculated by the product creation date in Shopify. Unfortunately, the kind of sorting that you are looking for which is a combination of alphabetical sorting mixed with New to Old may is not natively supported by Shopify. This is something that can only be done via "Manual" sort option for any collection. There are a few apps that can automate your manual sort order based on your select custom logic.
