Customer phone number as a required field on Stilleto Theme Shopify

I am using Shopify Stilleto Theme for my shopify store. We need the Phone number field as a required field while customer is creating an account on Shopify. 

I know that we can make the shipping number as a required field on Shopify. But when I'm creating a webhook on customer creation API, if the customer is directly processing to checkout I'm not getting the Phone number field and only the shipping number is what I'm getting. If I keep a condition like customers can only process to checkout after account creation and again Phone number field is not showing during the account creation. Please anyone help us to fix on this issue.
