Customer receipt Invoices for tax purposes

Hi all

After looking into the age old problem of customers not being able to access a copy of either a tax receipt or tax invoice, I am curious as to what shopify is doing to make this a part of the software considering for a lot of your customers it is a legal requirement and also taking into consideration the multiple threads and shopify community discussions implying that this is a basic requirement for most shopify users ?
