Customer support window has no scrollbar!

When trying to contact Shopify Customer Support I am presented with a Chat conversation window.

 

This window has no scroll bar so as the conversation proceeds I am unable to see any response. 

 

I am using Windows 11 Home, version 22H2

 
Any advice gratefully received

If you haven't done so already, I'd encourage you to attempt a few local troubleshooting steps. This will allow us to determine whether this issue is related to your browser. For ease, I've gone ahead and listed a few steps below that you can attempt to see if this helps to resolve: 

 

  • Clear your Cache and Cookies.
  • Access the shop in an Incognito Tab. 
  • Try using Another Browser (i.e Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
  • Try Another Device (i.e a cell phone).
  • Try Restarting your device.
  • Make sure your device is Up To Date. 

 

If after attempting all of the steps outlined above, the issue persists, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Blair,

I have tried all of the above plus installing Microsoft edge.  

I still need help please as this is very tiresome and I have a number of issues I would like a response to but I'm unable to raise them with Shopify because of this.

Thanks for following up on this and giving those steps a try. 

 

As we are not experiencing any known issues surrounding this error, it's likely that this is a localized issue. Could you please share a screenshot of what the chat looks like when connecting with us through an incognito tab on your mobile device? Alternatively, you can try using another device that's using a cellular connection as opposed to wifi to see if this helps to resolve.

Hi Blair.
I have sent a screen shot of the shopify help page
1 before running out of real estate
2 after running out of space
3 another shopify page with the vertical scroll bar
4 shopify help via incognito session

I don't use shopify on a phone...screen too small
