HI. We produce custom items for our customers. It requires the customer to upload their logo in JPEG, PNG, JPEG, Ai, etc. They can upload any file. When i go to my order page to process my order, i need to download the original file so we can start their custom order.
When i click on it, it only downloads the file as a AVIF. I was not aware of that. Shopify support told me i need to manually convert the file. We have 100+ custom orders a month, Each image needs to be manually worked on. converting each file from AVIF to original adds another step and actually dramatically increases productivity.
Is there a solution for this? We were about to launch our shopify store, and close our woocommerece store, but im afraid, we wasted a lot of time and money to create a shopify store.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi @Rudi92s ,
It seems Shopify is converting the file format during the upload process.
To resolve this, you’ll need a custom app that enables file uploads on the product page. The uploaded files will be saved on the server, and you will receive a link to the file in the order.
Please refer to the link below where we’ve implemented this functionality for a similar setup.
