Customers Unable to CHeck out

My customers are getting caught up in a loop that doesn't allow them past the terms and conditions, to get to check out and pay.  It just keeps looping around.  What is this?

This looping issue usually occurs if there’s a validation problem with the terms and conditions checkbox or the theme's JavaScript is incorrectly configured to keep customers on the same page.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check Theme Code for Terms and Conditions Script:

   • Go to your theme’s code and find the script responsible for the terms and conditions. In some themes, there’s a custom JavaScript function that checks if the box is checked before allowing customers to proceed. There might be an error in this code.

2. Disable and Re-enable Terms and Conditions:

   • Go to your Checkout settings in Shopify, disable the terms and conditions requirement temporarily, save, and then enable it again. This can sometimes reset any issues related to custom themes.

3. Inspect the Console for JavaScript Errors:

   • In your browser, open the console (right-click > Inspect > Console) when on the checkout page and look for any error messages. Errors in this area often point to issues in the theme code or with a specific app.

4. Clear Cache or Test in Incognito Mode:

   • Sometimes, cached scripts can cause problems. Test the flow in an incognito browser window or clear your cache to see if the issue persists.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, you may need to adjust the JavaScript in your theme, or reach out to Shopify support if the problem is related to Shopify’s checkout itself.
