Customising a specific collection

Hi, how would I go about adding a text box field for customers to write special requests on a specific product collection?

 I know how to make the text box on the item. However i only want that text box seen on specific products in a collection. Thanks!

As described by @wo, you'll want to create a new template and duplicate the product template so that you can apply different templates to your products. Once you've duplicated the template, you can add the text box to one of the templates and assign the templates to the products accordingly. If you need help with duplicating the product template and you're using a Shopify-supported theme, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

Add a product template, add a text box to the newly added template. Then select the newly added product template on the product page where you need to add the text box.
