what should i do to add 3000 variant once with csv file import ? 

every time i try to import a file error showup ( Daily variant creation limit reached. Please try again later on shopify )

any solution ?

Hi, @profahmed!

Rio here from the Shopify Community team. This error is reached once you have 50,000 variants, you'll only be able to import 1,000 variants per day after reaching this limit. I suggest importing 1,000 variants per day or being more selective of the variants you import. You can read more about this here. 

The issue you experiencing will be solved by adding less than 1,000 variants at a time and splitting up the CSV. 

Were these the last of your products to be imported?

Hi, is there no way to add more products a day ? i still have a lot of products to add and 1000 variants a day are just +- 10 products wich is way too less for me to finish adding the products in time, i still have +- 600 products to add how can it be so restrictive thats not good..

I looked around, and really that's the most stupid feature of shopify how do you expect me to continue to work as with 1800 more products to add (not 600) i will just have to wait 180 days... to finish only the including part, that's so stupid, I hope you, shopify, has better to offer ?!!

I'm not sure but I saw that only plus shopped are not limited, plus shops ??? at 2000 $ month.. how can that be.. for such a stupid option that make it only possible to add products to the store, a positive answer is really hoped here.. 4 sizes and 25 colors for each products are 100 variants, 1000 variants are only 10 products a day... maybe it will be time to increase this limit ??? I really can't work with you guys if that's the deal, I'm definitively waiting for an answer I worked allready so long on my shop having to cancel it because of that is so stupid

... and even better, they say they let you have "Unlimited" products, which is sorta true. What they don't tell you is that technically 1 product is also 1 variant, so no matter how many products you want to add, if you get to 50,000 variants you are limited to 1000 variants imported each "day"... So they lie through omission that you really do have a limit to how many products you can add, bases on variants. Pretty sneaky way to throttle stores to limit server space. I've tried just using metafields for the data I need, but 1 product is still 1 variant and with a business that needs to offer 100s of thousands of parts, I am auto throttled at 50k products. 

SOO if you are reading this, you are at a point where you should be building what Shopify offers for your self or business OR pay $2000 a month for Shopify to build it. Personally the next plan to try, since we are a parts ecommerce business, will be looking to only use Shopify as a site host and checkout process, and dynamically creating products to the cart for customer checkout.

As I understood the 1000 daily producct limitation that occur after the shopify store has more than 50.000 variants in it is due to avoid latency or something like that..

Why then not considering the 1000 products separetely of the 100 variants allowed a day, so that I can add for real 1000 distinct products with 100 variants.. as now in my configuration I can only add 10 distinct product a day with 100 variant each, wich is a very big limitation to work.
