All things Shopify and commerce
Hi All,
New to Shopify but learning quickly. I have a question regarding Inventory analytics and reports.
As I build up my inventory list and stock is added is there a way to set an alert or a report where I can view exactly what date the item of stock was added to the inventory list.
For example: A report where I can select a date range and see that 'Product X' and 'Product Y' was added to the inventory list in the month of April. Hence it's been sat on the shelf now and not sold for 6 months, so I need to reduce the price or add to the sales collection.
An alert would be the perfect solution so I'm notified after a set amount of days or months that, that specific item has been sat in the inventory for 'X amount of days' and has not sold but a report would work too.
Many Thanks in Advance for any help or Assistance!
Hi Ben - I have the same need, did you ever find out how to do this?
We are also looking for a similar report. Did you have any luck finding something that would work? RDS
Unfortunately, there is nothing inherent in Shopify to do this. However, our Report Toaster app can help. You can combine our inventory history and dead stock report to send you an email whenever this situation occurs. Please feel free to try reach out to support to help you get setup.
