DAWN "fade in" animation REMOVE

Hi, I'm currently using the DAWN theme on my store and have run into an issue that's driving me crazy. When you scroll down on my store, you can see that sections like the product page and multi-column content load in one by one, fading in as they appear. However, my custom code, such as the reviews, does not have any animation—it is already loaded.

MY QUESTION IS: HOW CAN I REMOVE ANY ANIMATION AND MAKE THE SECTIONS ALREADY LOADED?

I’ve tried resizing the pictures, removing lazy loading in the code, and uninstalling many apps. It's not a speed issue, as I’ve done several speed tests, and the results are great. How can I fix this? Can someone please help?

Hi @edwinsoltan 

You can simply edit your theme to remove the animation.

1. From you Admin page, go to Online Store > Themes
2. Select the theme you want to edit, click Customized
3. Click the Gear icon on your left hand side. 
4. Under Animations, Uncheck the "Reveal sections on scroll"

I can’t believe I didn’t notice that the change didn’t apply! The first thing I did when optimizing my store was to disable the animations, but I missed that it didn’t actually take effect. After that, I got so frustrated, trying everything I could to fix it—even reaching out to Shopify support, who said it was a much more complex issue. THANK YOU! Now, I can finally sleep well.
