Dawn theme issues auto play video

I have added a video section to the homepage of my website. However, the video wont auto play, so unless you click play it doesnt work - which obviously makes the video option a useless feature. I've heard that theres some coding that can fix the issue but no idea how to do that. Any help would be amazing!
