Delayed order notification

In the past, when checking orders on my Shopify app on my phone, same day sales would appear. Recently, the app will delay notification of sales for days (for example, order from 2/11/23 notifies on app 2/13; order from 3/6 notifies on app 3/11). I have a process where I check orders daily so don’t think it’s user error. It’s very frustrating to get a sale and realize the customer has been waiting days for shipment notification. I know everyone, including Shopify, is having staffing/business issues. My takeaway will be to check store email daily, because that seems to notify accurately in real time.  
Anyone see this too? Know a remedy? Thanks

Not sure what exactly solved the issue, but checked settings and updated App (didn’t realize it needed an update), and all is well again. Thank you for helping!

What is the app you are using to notify delayed shipping?

I'm having order delays as well. My app is up to date but a customer ordered a product, we received no notification until almost 18 hours later.  During that 18 hours I looked at reports, adding reached checkout columns, the checkouts showed zero.  Only 18 hours after the order was placed was I then notified by mail and also was able to see the order in the various reports.  I'd like to know as soon as an order is place, I'm not sure how to address this new issue.
