All things Shopify and commerce
We hired someone to migrate our customers and orders from wordpress into shopify. When doing so, they completely messed up the job. Orders and customers don't match and on top of that, Shopify sent every one of our customers a series of emails saying that their orders were refunded! What a mess.
So, now we have a bunch of customers tied to orders that are cancelled and unpaid. I just want to start over. I want to delete all customers and orders.
What's the best way to do this ensuring our customers don't get notified again?

Hey, @tfearnow.
Thanks for reaching out and posting this question.
If the orders were imported using the Shopify API, then you can delete the orders. You can also delete the customer profiles in bulk; however, only the customer profiles that can be deleted will be deleted. As for the notifications, they are generally triggered by certain actions and deleting the orders or customer profiles should not trigger any notifications.
