All things Shopify and commerce
I hired SLASHCART to do the job. Naively, I paid up front, and he even had me write a review for him BEFORE the job started. I wrote a review, hoping it would push him to do the job. For weeks he led me on, saying he would do what I paid for and what was in the job description. I had to hound him to get him to complete the littlest tasks. Fast forward a few weeks, when he FINALLY said he'd do the job, he flat out tells me he cant. So I changed my review to reflect my frustration. He tells me he will give me a refund ONLY if I change my review back.
WHAT?
I have submitted to Shopify all of our communication yet Shopify isnt doing ANYTHING about it.
Im pissed I got scammed but Im even more disappointed that after being a customer for 7 years, Shopify doenst back me up. Why should I pay for a job that wasnt done?
I had to hire another expert to do the job.
Absolute B.S.
Anyway, this post is to warn you to NEVER hire SLASHCART. They are the worst.
They LIE. They are completely unethical and the worst kind of people on the earth.
Shopify, get it together, man. Who vets these "experts"?
I want my $300 back.
Hi @Susana1600 first of all this is not the right platform to discuss this kind of matter. It's worth noting that they may have their side of the story that we're not aware of. Secondly, I don't believe that they will do a scam for $300.
In my experience, they have a good reputation for their expertise and professionalism. Also, I noticed in your initial review that you mentioned they used the Dwan theme, but the Yuva theme appears to be active on your store which is a paid theme. I would say, it's crucial to approach this situation with a fair and balanced perspective. Accusations without concrete evidence can harm someone's reputation unjustly.
I hope you will understand this.
When the expert has acted in this manner, and Shopify has failed to resolve the issue on behalf of their long time customer of seven years, this is only place left to vent my frustration. and please tell me where it is that I said I don’t have evidence? I have all the evidence, and I have submitted it all to Shopify. Videos, pictures, screenshots, photos, conversations, documentation.
I absolutely have concrete evidence. I’ve saved every screen recording of our Zoom meetings. Every Voice Memo. Every screenshot of our correspondence. And this is absolutely the place to voice my frustration with them to let other people know to use Slashcart. I’ve had several people reach out to me to get further information, and I have shared my story with them to warn them.
Hello everyone,
I am fully willing to provide any supporting documentation, correspondence, or evidence that can shed light on the true nature of this project and the subsequent events.
Sincerely,
Arthur
SlashCart Representative
Muhammad Usman is Arthur’s real name and he has gone onto my Facebook business page and harassed and stalkex my customers. He has left a false negative review and has left negative comments under 15 pictures. I have documented This and submitted all evidence to Shopify.
you have terrorized me. I have screenshots from every zoom meeting we have ever had to confirm that this is in fact you. You, "Arthur", ARE Muhammad Usman and i have sent images/messages/ screenshots to shopify. You're being investigated for harassment by Shopify.
Several people have reached out to me to let me know they had similar experiences with you. You took their money and never did the work and never responded to them. Arthur/Mohammed Usman you are unprofessional, immoral, unethical, and you’re a horrible human being. You have been dealt with by Shopify. They have had to reprimand you for your harassing behavior. This is a screenshot of my most recent interaction with somebody.
I've taken every step possible. I've uploaded conversations, screenshots, images, pictures, contract, videos.
This is reprehensible , the attack on myself and my customers on a platform outside of shopify. for seven years, I have built a reputation as a stellar merchant, and arthur at slashcart is unleashing an attack on me on Facebook. I had to contact Go Daddy today to implement security standards for myself, and for my business.
My themes are not visible to anybody. And my website is password-protected. Nice try, clown.
I wouldnt be flexin' that Muhammad aka "Sam" used a PAID theme. He boot-legged a theme then re-named it to try to disguise it, and Yuva and Shopify are both aware and are taking action.
