Disable shipping option

We are a local restaurant and market and are starting an organic wine club. We are only offering local pick up for the wine. How do I turn off the shipping option so it doesn't confuse customers to think that we ship

This is an accepted solution.

Just delete all of your shipping rates, and then turn on local pickup. This will make it so that when customers get to checkout, they'll only be presented with the local pickup option (if you have no shipping rates set). 

 

Admin > Settings > Shipping > click into the shipping profile(s) > delete all of the rates.

Are you able to provide us with some more context around this 'shipping' method that you're mentioning? You are certainly able to set things up so your wines can only be picked-up, and not shipped. If you can provide me with some context around this 'shipping method' you're mentioning, perhaps by sharing a screenshot of the specific 'shipping method' you're referencing, I can advise on what steps would be best for you here!

Do you ship any other products for your business, @nourishcafe? Or are all of your products local pick-up, and not requiring shipping?
