You'll need to create a new collection page template, and then assign it to the collection you're working with.

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/theme-structure/templates

Once the new template is assigned to the collection, go back into the theme editor, click into the collection settings from the left-hand menu, and then in the right-hand options, there will be a section for "Custom CSS".

Add the following coding to the "Custom CSS" section:

.price {display: hidden;}

The above will hide the prices on the new collection page template.

If you also don't want the pricing hidden on the product page, then you'll need to make another template for the product page (same process as above). Once you've made the new product page template and assigned it to the product, then go back into the theme editor, and then in the left-hand menu, there will be an option for you to 'hide' the pricing and 'add to cart' buttons, without needing any coding.

The custom CSS would only be applied to the collection template that you've added it to.

Any other collections templates that don't have the CSS applied to it, should show the normal pricing.

Based on your screenshot, it looks like you've created a custom collection template called "hide-price" and then added the custom CSS to the right spot, so I don't really know where you could of gone wrong here.

I'd double-check that your other collections aren't assigned to this "hide-price" template, and that you haven't accidentally added the custom CSS to the main/original collection page template (the coding should only be added to the "hide-price" template).

Try refreshing the theme editor page in your browser, and then checking the 'custom CSS' section, within a collection that's using the regular template, to make sure the coding hasn't been added there too.
