All things Shopify and commerce
I'd like Shopify to stop automatically syncing products to my Facebook/Instagram shop catalogue so that I can switch to using a manual catalogue in my Facebook/Instagram shops instead (I need more control over how my products appear in the shop).
I already have a manual catalogue created, but Meta won't let me link this manual catalogue to my Facebook/Instagram shop.
Please help! I've been going round in circles and not getting anywhere.
Many thanks all 🙂
Hi @Liang_Ku
If you want full control with your manual catalogue, you’ll need to:
Just keep in mind: once you remove the sales channel, Shopify won’t update your products on FB/IG anymore - you’ll have to do it all in meta.
If this was helpful, hit the like button and accept the solution.
Thanks
Shopify’s native Facebook/Instagram integration automatically syncs your products, and unfortunately, it doesn’t allow disconnecting this sync to use a manual catalogue directly. To gain full control, you may need to unlink Shopify from your Meta Commerce Manager and set up your manual catalogue independently within Facebook Business Manager. Then, manage your Facebook/Instagram shops directly through Meta without Shopify’s automatic sync interfering.
