Discount code of full price, not the sale price

Hi,

So i am looking for help to solve this issue:

Product price is 100 USD
It is now on sale for 80 USD (-20%)

Lets say I want to give a customer a 25% discount of all items. I dont want it to calculate the discount from 80USD, i want it to do it from 100 USD. So the price is 75 USD. 

Is this a way to solve with any third party app?

This is a major cause of confusion, because in Shopify, both "compare at price"/"sale price" and discounts are 2 separate ways of marking down products.

Discounts always apply to the sale price in Shopify, so if you're looking for a third party app, it has to be able to subtract the difference between the "sale price" and "compare at price" from the final discount.

Just use the "Calculate discount based on compare at price" option in the logic builder, and you can make a discount that:

• Applies 25% off all items
• Calculates the discount based on 100USD instead of 80USD in the example you gave
