Discount code shareable link but to a specific product

I'd like to be able to use the shareable link for a discount, but take people to a specific product.  Is that possible?  The regular shareable link only takes people to the store homepage.

Nick here from Shopify. 

Great question. You can get a shareable link to a specific product page or collection should you wish. To do this, you would click on Specific Products in the Applies to section of the discount tab and select the product you wish for the discount code link to be for. Once you have selected the product you would click back on promote at the top of the page where you'd get the link and it will let you choose if you want the link specifically for the product or the homepage. You can see a photo of how this looks below. Shopify also have a guide going through this process in detail which you can read here.

Why isn't this option available with shipping discounts?

I'm wondering the same thing. Seems like I should be able to send people to a specific product page without having to only apply the discount code to a single product. I'm trying to do free shipping as well.

It allows you to share a specific product with a discount code. Share it with a unique link or a printable QR code.

You need to search for a plugin that helps you to help the users to land on the offer page. There is a linkd plugin for Shopify that'll help you to do that.

The plugin solves the problem of adding the un-understandable code to your offer page.

Shopify support never understands what people are asking, so here's your answer:

Here is the URL structure to send to ANY page, while carrying the discount code in the URL so it auto applies the code at checkout:

https://yoursite.com/discount/couponcode?redirect=/your-landing-page

So, if you wanted to attach the code 25OFF and send them to this url (https://nectarusa.com/products/hazelnut-toffee-waffle-bath-bomb) it would look like this:

https://nectarusa.com/discount/25OFF?redirect=/products/hazelnut-toffee-waffle-bath-bomb

Always test when you append a URL, it's easy to double up on a letter or miss the ? or /

This is even more helpful when you want to discount an entire collection and still activate the code. For example if that code above applied to all bath bombs, you could do this:

https://nectarusa.com/discount/25OFF?redirect=/collections/bath-bombs
