Discount not working

I have created a store and am using the VO Product Options app for product upgrade options. I am also adding a discount to the store, such as offering $20 off when someone buys two products. The discount works perfectly fine in general, but there is an issue when a customer selects an upgrade option along with another product. In this case, the discount doesn't apply to the product with the upgrade option. For the discount, I am using the Upsell Koala Bundles app.
