All things Shopify and commerce
I am looking to add a discount for any product in an automated collection called "Not Discounted" for 10% off.
However, it needs to apply only if the entire cart is above $50, not only the value of the products of the "Not Discounted" collection. Sadly, Shopify defaults to calculating the order value based on the selected collection.
Our client is adamant about doing it this way as their customers have been used to this specific way of getting discounts for years.
Is there a way to do this? Or does anyone know a workaround? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Can you try this app: Salepify
You can use the cart upsell function and configure conditions to apply to specific collections.

Hi Lehventures,
If you're looking to apply a discount based on the total cart value while only applying it to a specific collection, Regios Automatic Discounts (4.9 stars, 48 reviews) can handle this easily.
Here's a screenshot showing how you can set it up:
By using a "minimum purchase requirement" for the entire cart, and combining it with a "Get Y" discount that applies specifically to your collection, your client can maintain their discount strategy seamlessly.
Feel free to reply if you need more details!
Best,

@lehventures , I recommend you try our app, Discount Bot do create a discount exactly as you described:
On the admin side, here's how you set up the discount:
To use the cart total instead of eligible items total, please select the "Use cart subtotal" checkbox:
During checkout / in cart, the items in the Summer collection get the discount when the cart minimum is $50:
Please reply in case of questions and I'll be happy to help.
Hi @lehventures
If I understand correctly, you can try the Discounty App. One of its campaign types is "minimum order value," and I think it can help you solve your problem. Check out Discounty app!
