Discounts based on payment gateways

Hi,

Do you guys know any way to enable discounts as per the payment gateway? For example, we would like to give our customers 10% off with a max cap of let's say USD2. Is there any way we could do this? This is a much-needed feature because I believe every business needs this.

Please let me know a solution to this.

I don't know of a way to do this, unless you're on Shopify Plus and can edit the checkout / run scripts.

Another idea is to send them a discount code for their next order. You can do that automatically. I know it's not as good as an immediate discount, but it's the only alternative option I can think of so far.

I tried with the coupon discounts but that does not help us to allow the coupon code to be only activated on selected payment gateways.
