Discrepancy in Purchase Conversions in GA4 and Google Ads - Seeking Assistance

Hi all, 

I'm facing discrepancies between my Shopify orders and the conversions recorded on GA4 and Google Ads (30 conversions reported for 60 actual orders). Shopify and Google supports redirected me to each other without resolution.

I'd appreciate any help in this regard:

1. Has anyone faced and resolved a similar issue?
2. Could incorrect Shopify or GA settings be a potential cause?
3. Any known bugs or issues I should be aware of?

Accurate tracking is crucial for my campaign strategies.

Hello,

Please check you have added the conversion tracking properly. Delete the conversion GA4 tracking code from your theme.liquid file if you have setup the GA4 tracking with Google sales channel app.

I don't have any GA4 tracking codes on my theme's code. 

I set the GA4 connection with the Google sales channel app and from there it all seems to be connected properly.

Okay, there is only one GA4 tracking code.

1) Google Analytics track order which redirected to the final thank you page. If you are using any third-party payment app which is turning your last order page to another page except thank you page, the order will not track.

2) Please check in GA4 settings, are you using any data filter?

3) Please check and complete Google setup assistance.

Hi 

I did have a data filter with that domain of our payment provider. I removed it now. 

However, I checked, and some of the orders that were tracked were from this domain. Let's see if it will make a difference in the next couple of days.
